This 8.2mm Figaro chain necklace is worked in genuine 925 sterling silver, with the classic pattern of three short curb links followed by one elongated link running the full length. That rhythm gives the chain its distinctive cadence and a good deal of surface to catch the light, more so than a uniform curb or belcher of the same width.
At 8.2mm this is a substantial, heavyweight design suited to bold everyday wear or a statement occasion piece, rather than a subtle layering chain. It is finished with a lobster clasp and stamped 925.
The width and weight make it a confident base for a pendant. Figaro chains are traditionally used to carry religious medals, crosses and crests, and this one holds them well: the flat, elongated links give a secure, stable drape for a medium to large pendant without the chain twisting under the load.
Available in lengths from 8 to 30 inches, so it can be sized for a necklace or, at the shorter end, worn as a bracelet.
