Terms of service

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website operated by Jelux Ltd, also referred to as Jelux Brands. By accessing our website, browsing its content, or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using the website or purchasing goods from us. These Terms and Conditions form the contractual relationship between you (the customer) and Jelux Ltd (the company) and apply to every transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Company Information and Contact

Jelux Ltd is a company incorporated in England and Wales with company registration number 15507171. We may be contacted through the details provided on our website, including email and telephone customer support. Communications made by electronic means will be treated as legally valid.

Changes to These Terms

Jelux Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will take effect once published on our website. Continued use of the site or placing further orders after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Customers are advised to review the Terms and Conditions regularly to remain aware of their obligations and rights.

Account Registration and Customer Obligations

When registering for an account or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least eighteen years of age, legally capable of entering into binding contracts, and that all information provided is accurate and up to date. You are responsible for keeping login details confidential. Jelux Ltd accepts no liability for unauthorised account access resulting from negligence in maintaining confidentiality.

Orders and Contract Formation

When you place an order through our website, you are offering to purchase goods in accordance with these terms. An acknowledgement email will be issued upon receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. A legally binding contract is only formed when we confirm dispatch of the goods. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example where pricing or product information is incorrect or where fraudulent activity is suspected.

Product Information, Pricing and Payment

We endeavour to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, prices and images are accurate. However, variations may occur, particularly with handmade or natural products. Prices shown on the website exclude delivery charges, which are applied at checkout, and may change without notice. In the event of an error, we are not obliged to fulfil an order at the incorrect price. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering, unless otherwise agreed, using the methods set out on our website.

Dispatch, Delivery and Risk

We aim to dispatch items within 24 hours of receiving confirmed payment. Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you upon delivery to the address supplied. For orders outside the United Kingdom, you are solely responsible for paying any import duties, customs charges or local taxes that may apply.

Statutory Cancellation Rights

As a consumer in the United Kingdom, you are entitled under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. This statutory right does not apply to personalised, bespoke or customised products. To exercise the right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within the 14-day period and return the goods in their original condition. We will refund all payments, including the cost of standard delivery, within fourteen days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return. Refunds will be made using the same method of payment originally used.

Goodwill Returns Policy

In addition to your statutory rights, Jelux Ltd offers a goodwill policy permitting returns of unused, non-personalised goods within twenty-eight calendar days from the date of dispatch. Returns outside this period may be refused or refunded at our discretion. Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise. The cost of returning items is your responsibility unless goods are faulty or damaged through our error. For international returns, you are responsible for return postage, and we recommend using a tracked service.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If goods are defective or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. If goods are damaged in transit, you must notify us within three days of receipt in order to be eligible for a replacement or refund.

Promotions, Discounts and Gift Vouchers

Promotional codes and discounts are valid only within the stated period and under the specified conditions. Unless stated, they cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. If goods are returned and your order no longer qualifies for the original promotion, adjustments may be applied to the refund value. Gift vouchers are redeemable solely through our website, are issued electronically to the nominated email address, and once sent are non-transferable. Vouchers are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), and the Data Protection Act 2018. By using our website and placing orders, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information. Our website uses cookies to enhance your experience and enable essential functions; disabling cookies may affect site performance.

Limitation of Liability

While we strive to maintain accurate website content and reliable service, Jelux Ltd does not guarantee that access will be uninterrupted or error-free. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential losses arising from use of or reliance upon the website or its content. Our liability in respect of defective goods is limited to repair, replacement or refund. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Intellectual Property Rights

All materials appearing on this website, including text, images, branding and designs, are the intellectual property of Jelux Ltd or its licensors. Such materials may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without our prior written consent.

Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid or unenforceable by a court, that provision shall be severed and the remainder shall remain in effect. Any waiver of rights under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent rights or remedies.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any policies referenced on our website, constitute the entire agreement between you and Jelux Ltd. They shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
