This 2.75mm sterling silver rope chain necklace is made from tightly spiralled links, each cut on a diamond-cut facet that catches the light with every turn of the chain. The result is a bright, sparkling twist rather than a flat, plain finish, giving the classic rope design extra shine.
The rope construction is dense and hard-wearing, so the chain holds its shape and drapes evenly without kinking. At 2.75mm it is substantial enough to wear alone as a striking everyday piece, and secure enough to carry a pendant as a centrepiece.
Finished with a lobster clasp, it is stamped 925 and made from genuine sterling silver throughout. Available in a range of lengths from 7 to 24 inches, so it can be worn as a necklace or, at the shortest length, as a bracelet.
If you plan to add a pendant, choose one whose bail comfortably clears the width of the rope links so it sits and moves freely on the chain.
