This 1.6mm snake chain necklace is made from genuine 925 sterling silver, with smooth round plates joined tightly into a single uniform tube. The result is a sleek, flexible cord with a continuous, unbroken surface and a contemporary flow that catches the light evenly along its length.
The tubular construction sits close and flat against the skin, without the segmented look of a linked chain. It is finished with a lobster clasp for secure, everyday fastening.
At 1.6mm this chain is above the minimum width for hanging a pendant, so it will comfortably carry a light to mid-weight charm or pendant. Avoid sleeping in it, as bending the smooth tube sharply is what causes a snake chain to kink.
