This sterling silver snake chain necklace has a smooth, rounded tube construction, with tightly joined metal plates giving a continuous, flexible line that catches the light along its length.
At 2mm wide, it sits as a mid-weight everyday chain, substantial enough to wear alone as a subtle statement or to carry a light-to-mid weight pendant. The tube's sleek, unbroken surface gives it a smooth, contemporary look that differs from a linked chain style.
It fastens with a lobster clasp and is available in 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 inch lengths. Made from genuine 925 sterling silver and stamped 925.
Snake chains can kink if bent sharply, so it is best removed before sleeping and stored flat or hanging to keep its shape.
This chain can take a light-to-mid weight pendant with a bail that clears the chain's width. It is not recommended for heavier statement pendants, as the tube construction is not built to carry significant load.
