This 2.5mm sterling silver snake chain necklace is built from round smooth metal plates joined tightly into a uniform tube, giving it a sleek, contemporary flow with none of the visible links seen on curb or belcher styles.
At 2.5mm it sits comfortably above the minimum width for carrying a pendant, so it works well with mid-weight charms and medallions, or on its own as a clean everyday chain. It is not the choice for a heavy statement pendant, which needs a sturdier profile such as curb or box.
The chain is finished with a lobster clasp and is available in 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 inch lengths. One practical note: snake chain can kink if slept in or pulled sharply, so it is best removed before bed and stored lying flat.
